About the meeting
The 12th Tropical Dermatology Annual Meeting of the ISDT was held under the main theme “Global Dermatology and One Health”. The Rostock programme combined travel and tropical dermatology with interdisciplinary contributions from tropical medicine, zoology, the Friedrich-Löffler-Institut and the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology.

Programme highlights
Among other topics, the programme covered new developments in xeroderma pigmentosum, the consequences of the end of USAID in Africa, counterfeit medicines, vaccinations relevant to dermatology and travel medicine, climate change and mosquitoes, plasma medicine, leishmaniasis, dengue and arboviroses, gonorrhoea 2025 as well as reports from Uganda, Cambodia, Moshi, Venezuela and Namibia.
