About the meeting
In Moshi, two events merged into one another in 2025: the 30th international CME conference of the Regional Dermatology Training Centre (RDTC) from 8 to 10 January and the 10th Course in Tropical Dermatology of the DDG and ISDT from 13 to 14 January. The host was the RDTC at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) in Moshi, Tanzania.
The RDTC team and a diverse group of speakers from three continents contributed their knowledge and experience over three conference days; the CME event also served as a platform for networking and future collaborations. In the subsequent course, small groups examined selected patients with complex dermatological conditions. Participants also got to know the RDTC projects for people with albinism and xeroderma pigmentosum; the course was complemented by lectures on tropical dermatology and the basic seminar of the DDA certificate course.
