About the meeting
The 9th ISDT annual meeting took place in Basel in cooperation with the Department of Dermatology of the University Hospital Basel and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. The main theme was “Tropical medicine in low- and high-income countries”.

Programme focus
The announcement listed pigmentation and albinism, teledermatology, allergology, wound management and Buruli ulcer, treponematoses, mycetoma, tuberculosis, travel under immunosuppressive therapy and echinococcosis as key topics. The programme complemented these themes with contributions on cutaneous diphtheria, migration medicine, training in Sri Lanka and the ISDT overseas courses.
