About the course
The 9th overseas course in tropical dermatology of the DDG and ISDT took place in Bangkok under the title “Tropical Dermatology: Update 2024”. It was carried out in cooperation with Mahidol University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, Siriraj Hospital Bangkok.

Programme focus
The course programme combined clinical visits at Siriraj Hospital with scientific sessions on dermatophytes, sexually transmitted infections, arboviruses, parasitoses, PVL-producing staphylococci, subcutaneous mycoses, sporotrichosis, HIV dermatology, loiasis and arthropod bites. A dedicated excursion day at the Rajprachasamasai Institute was devoted to leprosy, leprosy diagnostics, rehabilitation, the historical development of treatment and cutaneous mycobacterioses.
